Wednesday, August 21, 2024 Sentosa Golf Club has reinforced its position as a global leader in sustainable golf by forming a new partnership with E-Z-GO® to integrate a fleet of zero-emission golf carts. This latest collaboration aligns with Sentosa’s long-standing commitment to the future of golf, as the agreement brings 220 of E-Z-GO’s advanced buggies to the renowned Serapong and Tanjong courses. Emerging from a formal tender process, this partnership is focused on enhancing the golfing experience at Sentosa through the adoption of innovative technology that prioritizes sustainability.

The 220 new golf carts are powered by lithium batteries, which offer zero emissions, produce 95% less harmful waste compared to lead-acid batteries, are 15% more efficient than other lithium options, and have an extended lifespan. These buggies also feature several unique innovations, including the IntelliBrake automatic parking brake for enhanced safety, regenerative braking for superior efficiency and control, and a wrap-around bumper for increased user protection. E-Z-GO vehicles are crafted by Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc.
