Three Clements Noyes Art Gallery members and seven guest artists will exhibit new work in diverse styles and media at a First Friday opening from 5-8:30 p.m. Aug.

2 at the gallery, 119 S. Ninth St. A livestream of the opening and brief artist talks will broadcast at 7 p.



m. on the Clements Noyes Gallery Facebook page. The event, curated by Clements Noyes artist Kathy Link, includes a variety of media and subjects.

For example, Link's pastel drawings explore the beauty of nature and the effects of light. Other artists to be featured in the August show are Paul English (sculpture, watercolor and stained glass), Eva Flury (quilting), Rhonda Heffelfinger (acrylic), Jan Kirschner (photography), Karen Silverstrand (acrylic), Marjorie Troyer (digital art), Jo Wallick (pastel), Susan Woodford (sculpture) and Judy Wu-Smart (sculpture). While at the event, attendees are encouraged to check out the gallery's upcoming workshops, including the Painting Birch Trees workshop with Gayle Kuhlman on Saturday, Aug.
