In an effort to promote local development and offer job opportunities in the community, Secrets Baby Beach Aruba has officially inaugurated its recruitment office in San Nicolas. This important step not only marks the beginning of their recruitment campaign but also highlights the hotel’s commitment to the Aruba community. The ceremony was attended by several government officials, including the Prime Minister, and various business figures, who emphasized the significance of this project for both the local economy and the residents of the area.

Siglaine Besaril-Wever, Human Resources Director of Secrets Baby Beach Aruba, proudly announced the official opening of the new recruitment office in San Nicolas. This event marks the launch of the hotel’s recruitment campaign, which aims not only to create new positions but also to invite professionals who feel a connection to this project to be part of it. Besaril-Wever stated: “We want those who feel a connection to this project to come, enjoy a coffee with us, chat, and, if they wish, join our team in a professional capacity.

” The campaign is also extending across social media platforms, where the reception has been positive. Interested individuals are invited to follow the official accounts on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram under the name ‘careers@secretsaruba,’ as well as visit the website to view and apply for available positions. Besaril-Wever emphasized the importance of taking advantage of these opportunities, especially with the first job fair taking place on August 23rd and 24th.

During this event, all supervisor and manager positions will be open. Government’s Commitment to the Project Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes was also present at the inauguration, highlighting the Aruba government’s commitment to the Secrets Baby Beach project. “At the beginning, when this project started, I was not involved.

It was only after assuming the infrastructure portfolio that I came into contact with them. Despite the challenges, the government has been supportive. Initially, there was much skepticism about the project, but what convinced me was that it was not government-funded but a private investment,” the Prime Minister commented.

Wever-Croes also underscored the importance of economic development in San Nicolas and job creation for the area’s residents. “With the opening of this recruitment office, we are inviting the entire Aruba community, especially our residents and the people of San Nicolas, to take advantage of these job opportunities,” she concluded. MEP faction member, Parliamentarian Alvin Molina, highlighted the importance of actions like these to ensure the success of the project, not only for Aruba in general but especially for San Nicolas.

“Without actions like this, the hotel would simply be a luxury establishment, but the people of Aruba and San Nicolas would not feel the benefits. This is a crucial step in providing job opportunities for the residents of San Nicolas and potentially for those from nearby areas as well. It represents an opportunity for growth in the hotel sector, and the opportunity to work at Secrets Hotel in San Nicolas.

He also thanked the hotel management and the involved ministers for their commitment to implementing this project and addressing the community’s needs..
