Monday, September 23, 2024 SeatBoost, a cutting-edge startup revolutionizing the air travel experience with its dynamic seat upgrade platform, has announced a significant investment from International Airlines Group (IAG) . This strategic funding is a major step toward SeatBoost’s goal of elevating passenger satisfaction while boosting non-dilutive revenue for airlines. SeatBoost offers an innovative platform that enables live auctions for seat upgrades via mobile devices at the airport.

Travelers can bid on premium seat inventory released by partner airlines, turning seat upgrades into a fun, interactive experience. The solution not only delights passengers but also generates incremental revenue on seats that might otherwise go unsold. Current airline partners include IAG brands Iberia , TAP Air Portugal , Condor , Avianca , and LATAM .
