Sean 'Diddy' Combs' lawyer has commented about the rapper's refusal to accept plea deal, after he was charged with sex trafficking. The musician's attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has spoken out about the ongoing case, which has seen a federal grand jury in New York choose to bring an indictment against him. The 54-year-old faces charges of sex offences, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution, with the indictment alleging he "abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfil his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct" from 2008.

Now, his attorney has said Combs maintains his innocence, stating that a plea deal is off the table ahead of the trial, with the artist adamant he will clear his name. Speaking in a teaser for TMZ 's new documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, Agnifilo says: "I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. I think he’s very eager to tell his story.
