Prayagraj : In collaboration with the electricity department , the Mela administration has made extensive preparations to provide reliable, seamless power supply across vast mela campus. Two new substations are under construction, with additional efforts to expand substation capacity and build interlink lines. The process of laying underground power lines is also progressing steadily, along with other key projects being rapidly advanced.

A 132/33 KV Hetapatti transmission substation is being constructed in the Jhunsi area, which will supply continuous power to both the mela grounds and surrounding urban and rural areas, benefiting around 2.5 lakh residents. Similarly, the New Beli substation is being built to provide electricity to around 1 lakh people in Beli, Myorabad, Katra, and Rajapur.



The Phaphamau substation is also expanding its capacity to improve the power supply for about 50,000 residents in Phaphamau market and nearby rural areas. Across the city, major substations are being interconnected with new interlink lines to ensure uninterrupted power for a population of 7 lakh people. 12 interlink lines are being constructed to connect the city's key 33/11 KV substations, ensuring reliable electricity for Civil Lines, Bairhana, Rambagh, High Court, Karaili, Khusrobagh, Prayagraj Junction, Beli, and Phaphamau.

High-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) power lines along Airport Road, Baghambari Road, and Peshwai Marg have been placed underground to enhance the area's appearan.
