It has been 21 years since Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli starred together in School of Rock–and now the two child stars have announced they're engaged. The two, who were revealed to be in a relationship since 2016 , seemingly revealed the news in an Instagram post. The two first struck up a romance in 2016, 13 years after they portrayed students Marta and Frankie in the Jack Black led film about a man who poses as a music teacher at a prep school.

Now, without explicitly stating they are engaged after years of dating, Caitlin hinted at it with a new post featuring the two dressed up. In the photos, the two pose together in formal wear with smiles on their faces, with Caitlin wearing a black gown with her hair swept into an updo.
Angelo wore a black suit and white shirt. In the images, a sparkling diamond ring can be seen on Caitlin’s left hand. “Sneak peek” she captioned the post.
