King James Academy, in Royston , was rated 'Good' following an inspection in April 2024. The academy is part of the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust and caters for pupils between the ages of nine and 18.

The report is the first since the Academy became an 'all-through school'. The inspection also came months after the school's buildings were badly damaged during Storm Henk. However, inspectors said in their report that 'leaders and staff had managed this difficult period impressively'.
