Two blocks of flats for more than 80 people could be built over car parks in the town centre. This comes with developers set to put forward a plan later this year for the two four-storey blocks to be built off All Saints Street. But first, they say they want people living in the area to give their views on the proposals.
Cllr Richard Silvester, of Queens Park and Central, said: “A planning application by P4 Planning will be submitted in November for two, four-storey apartment blocks comprising 82 residential units on two car parks, either side of All Saints Street. “This is across Bow Street from the Church Wharf development site, and so will complement the overall scheme in that area. The blocks of flats will be proposed on either side of All Saints Street (Image: Google Maps) “P4 Planning would like the public to comment on their proposals prior to submitting the planning application, so I would encourage everyone to have a look at the plans on their website, and to let them know what they think.
” Bolton Council had agreed to sell off the car parks at All Saints Street East and West in September 2022. At the time, officials had hoped that this would help make way for further developments in the town centre. Further details are expected when the plans are formally published in the autumn, but Cllr Silvester says he believes they will work well alongside other high-profile projects in the town.
Cllr Silvester said: “Personally speaking, I do like the proposals. “T.
