Friday, November 22, 2024 Saudia Group has recently launched the “Nartaqi” initiative, a key strategic endeavor designed to bolster and develop domestic competencies. This initiative was introduced at the second Local Content Forum, endorsed by His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation, Engr. Saleh Al-Jasser, and Saudia Group’s Director General, Engr.

Ibrahim Al-Omar. The launch is a collaborative effort with the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA). The “Nartaqi” initiative is integral to the Group’s revised strategy, which is in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to nurture a robust national economy.



Saudia Group’s affiliates are collectively pursuing the initiative’s main goals, which include asserting leadership in localizing the aviation industry, collaborating with partners to boost the Kingdom’s aviation capabilities, and enhancing the local content’s contribution to the sector through rapid implementation of projects. The initiative also seeks to enhance both internal and external perceptions of the Group and its suppliers in terms of local content. Dr.
