Saturday Kitchen: Nigella Lawson cooks with cherries Saturday Kitchen did not air a live show this week, leaving dedicated fans of the BBC Two programme disappointed. The channel has undergone a huge change to the schedule this week in part thanks to the Paris Olympics dominating the coverage this summer. Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty were already pulled from BBC Breakfast hours earlier than usual thanks to the games kicking off on Saturday with the swimming events.

Now, another stalwart of weekend shows failed to treat fans with a new live broadcast, instead airing clips of some of the best recipes from the show’s history. Matt Tebbutt hosted the clip show, which included an array of gourmet guests including Gennaro Contaldo, Nisha Katona and Yotam Ottolenghi.
