Thursday, November 14, 2024 SAS partners with Danish and Dutch leaders to boost green hydrogen, aiming to create Northwest Europe’s top hydrogen hub for a sustainable energy future. SAS has joined a strategic collaboration between Danish green hydrogen producers and the Dutch industrial sector, marked by a significant event attended by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, His Majesty King Frederik of Denmark, Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Climate Policy Sophie Hermans, and Danish Minister for Climate, Energy, and Utilities Lars Aagaard. The alliance was officially established with the signing of a declaration at the Dutch-Danish Forum on hydrogen collaboration, held at the Confederation of Danish Industry.
This international partnership aims to create the leading green hydrogen hub in Northwest Europe, connecting Danish hydrogen production with Dutch market demand. The initiative focuses on expanding hydrogen infrastructure, increasing demand, advocating for governmental support, and securing funding to make green hydrogen a viable energy alternative across the region. SAS aims to be a driving force in this sustainable effort, collaborating with key partners to advance the transition to a greener future in aviation.
