Wednesday, October 2, 2024 SAS is excited to announce a new partnership with Braathens Regional Airways AB (BRA), enhancing its domestic services across Sweden with fresh destinations and increased flight frequencies. Beginning January 2025, SAS will introduce routes to Halmstad, Kalmar, and Sälen, significantly improving connectivity within the country. In a challenging domestic landscape, SAS remains dedicated to providing sustainable and long-term air travel solutions within Sweden.
This newly established wet lease partnership with BRA strengthens domestic air service efficiency. Under this agreement, BRA will operate several aircraft on behalf of SAS, ensuring capacity on vital domestic routes and enabling SAS to deliver reliable and efficient travel options. This expansion provides passengers with increased flexibility for domestic journeys and smoother connections to international flights from Arlanda.
