Through this partnership, SAS passengers can now access 12 key destinations across Spain and Portugal via Madrid-Barajas, including Alicante, Barcelona, Málaga, Palma de Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Tenerife Norte, Lisbon, and Oporto. Meanwhile, Air Europa travelers will benefit from SAS’ extensive Scandinavian network, connecting to cities like Stockholm, Oslo, Bergen, and Gothenburg. A highlight of the collaboration is the launch of SAS’ new direct flights between Madrid and Copenhagen, starting April 11, 2025.

This route, along with daily flights from Copenhagen to Madrid, is expected to significantly enhance business and leisure travel between Scandinavia and Spain. The partnership also offers long-haul connectivity for SAS customers, providing access to Air Europa’s routes to North Africa, the Caribbean, and South America.
