Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett have been spotted filming And Just Like That...
ahead of the new series. The duo were seen on location in New York City, with Sarah, 59, and John, 63, looking chic and smart as they donned all-black attire. It is not known if the scene they were filming was for a celebration or perhaps a funeral.
In the series, the actors play love interests. Sarah plays the role of Carrie Bradshaw, while furniture designer Aidan Shaw is played by John. In snaps of the duo on location this week, they walked hand-in-hand down a city street, smiling and laughing, and looking all loved up.
Sarah could be seen wearing a plunging black dress in the snaps, with the dress also boasting of an off-the-shoulder cut complete with draping and ruching on the front. She completed the look with some pointy heels and her signature curly locks. Meanwhile, John wore a black suit comprising smart trousers, a white shirt, a black tie, and a matching blazer.
He also wore some smart shoes. The Sex and the City revival follows leading SATC characters Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. The first series of And Just Like That.
.. premiered on HBO Max on December 9, 2021.
A second season was then announced in March 2022, with it premiering on June 22, 2023. In August 2023 the series was renewed for a third season, which is currently being shot and is due to premiere in 2025. This comes amid rumours that Kim Cattrall, who previously returned to the revival to play Samantha in the show's season 2 finale, could return again, with Kim seemingly putting these rumours to bed in an instant.
When Kim's character returned, Samantha was seen in a car on the phone with Carrie, with it thought that their paths did not cross on set amid an alleged long-running feud. Life & Style then recently said: "It’s still open as to whether she’ll even film any scenes with the other women, but certainly she doesn’t want to break bread with them off camera and pretend like nothing ever happened," amid claims she could make another come back. With rumours rife, one fan took to X to say that it "looked like" Kim might possibly return to AJLT in her role of Samantha.
But Kim was quick to weigh in, replying: "Aw that's so kind but I'm not."
