Saoirse Ronan is already getting Oscar buzz for her work in The Outrun and she just hit the red carpet for the film’s world premiere! The 30-year-old actress took to the red carpet at the Edinburgh International Festival on Thursday (August 15) in Edinburgh, Scotland. Also on the red carpet were director Nora Fingscheidt and screenplay co-writer Amy Liptrot . Based on Liptrot ‘s memoir of the same name, The Outrun follows a young woman named Rona who has recently been released from rehab for her alcoholism.
As she returns home to the Orkney Islands in Scotland, she attempts to heal herself in the place that she grew up. The Outrun comes to theaters on October 4 and has already received rave reviews for Saoirse ‘s performance. Don’t miss it! FYI: Saoirse is wearing a Louis Vuitton dress and shoes.
