The San Pedro Fish Market will be attracting seafood lovers with jumbo appetites when its annual all you can eat ShrimpFest returns this month with three events at three of the restaurant’s locations. “If you’re a seafood lover you can’t miss out on this event where you can have spectacular all-you-can-eat seafood,” said Mike Ungaro, CEO and co-owner of the famous family-run restaurant, which was founded by his grandfather in a small San Pedro corner store in 1956. For the first time since its launch, the fourth annual festival will take place on three different days at three Fish Market spots starting Oct.
11 at the Wilmington location, then Oct. 18 at the flagship San Pedro restaurant and Oct. 25 at the Long Beach restaurant.
The ShrimpFest, which is dubbed as a “more than you can eat” event, is happening in conjunction with the restaurant’s reality TV show “Kings of Fi$H,” which follows the family and its growing restaurant empire. The show recently jumped from a web series to make its debut on Amazon Prime in August.
