Perth-born singer Samantha Jade has not-so-quietly spilled on her plans for a pop-up show at The Court on Friday night. Dropping her EP Love.Sick Vol.

so maybe I’ll get there about 10pm!” After posting the announcement to her Instagram story, The Court confirmed a “surprise performance by the one and only Samantha Jade” as they released their schedule for the evening. Touching on her five-track release, led by upbeat single Peachy, Jade described her new music as a “love letter to love – all the different stages”. For the 37-year-old Sydney resident, losing her mum to cancer in 2014 left an emotional toll that scarred, opening the door for a new beginning.

“Loss of love is a big one. There’s a song called ‘New Me’ about my mum, and it’s about if I changed everything about myself, would I still miss you?” Following her second-place finish on Dancing With The Stars on Monday, fans may be hoping to catch some of Jade’s new moves when she takes the stage at the Northbridge venue..
