Made on a budget of around 28 crore, it collected Rs 100.91 crore (US$12 million) worldwide and was the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2007. This movie proved to be Salman Khan’s lifeline in Bollywood.

Not just the movie, 18,00,000 units of soundtrack album were also sold. In it was the chemistry between Salman and Govinda which carried the film through. The movie left the audience gasping for breath.

It was musical, stylish, funny and more. Despite being an official remake of Will Smith starrer hit comedy , it was adapted to suit the palate of the Indian audience.
