Speaking about the same, Salman Khan said, “This ‘brat’ perception comes from the fact that these two people were consistently writing hits, one after another, and eventually had to turn down many producers and actors. Wo waha se aata hai ki ye log apne aap ko samajhte kya hai aur inka dimaag kharab ho gaya hai.

Dimaag inka kharab nahi hua tha. Dimaag inka bohot acchi tareeke se chal raha tha kyuki ye hit pe hit diye jaa rahe the.” A post shared by Salman Khan (@beingsalmankhan) Salman Khan also revealed that many filmmakers called them “brats” because they couldn’t work with them due to date issues.

He added, “Jinke saath ye kaam nahi kar paye kyuki dates nahi milte, plot pasand nahi aaya, shakal aur characters pasand nahi aaye, wo unhone inko tag kar diya ki inka dimaag kharab tha. Lekin actually inka nahi tha, jinhone unko ye bola tha, unka dimaag kharab tha.” A post shared by prime video IN (@primevideoin) The documentary series Angry Young Men , which is based on the work and life of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, will stream on Amazon Prime Video from 20 August.

Today, Salim Khan’s son Salman Khan is one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars. Also, Javed Akhtar’s children are successful filmmakers Farhan and Zoya Akhtar. See Also: Javed Akhtar Talks About Animal And New 'Angry Young Man' In Indian Movies: 'Turning Into A Caricature'.
