Cinephiles might find themselves taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane on Tuesday, with a chance to revisit the cinematic brilliance of Salim-Javed. The famed scripting duo behind Bollywood blockbusters like Sholay , Zanjeer , Deewaar , Yaadon Ki Baaraat , and Don . Prime Video India will soon premiere the docuseries Angry Young Men, which explores the creative partnership and legacy of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar.

The trailer for the project is set to be revealed on Tuesday. Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar to unveil Angry Young Men docuseries trailer honoring Salim-Javed legacy on Prime Video Salman Khan will attend the trailer unveiling, as will filmmakers Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, who are Javed Akhtar's children. Salman previously described the docuseries as a tribute to his father and Akhtar's legacy, and he hoped to see them together on anything.

Angry Young Men is a tribute to their creative brilliance and the profound impact they've had on Indian cinema.

Ritesh Sidhwani, Reema Kagti, filmmaker Namrata Rao, and Manish Menghani, filmmaker-Content Licensing, Prime Video, India, will also attend the event. Angry Young Men is produced by Salman Khan Films, Excel Media & Entertainment, and Tiger Baby.

Salman Khan, Salma Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti serve as executive producers. The series marks Namrata Rao's directorial debut and includes personal narrations from Salim-Javed as well as views from prominent people in Indian cinema. After collaborating on 22 Bollywood films and two Kannada films, the duo decided to split up in 1982.

The documentary's title, furious Young Men, relates to the furious young man hero-type that the team previously established.
