Brand alignment with luxury fashion remains top of mind for SAINT International. Two stars from the Deiwght Peters-led modelling agency – Brit Knight and Naki Depass – were recently handpicked as faces for the latest projects of Gucci, Hermès, and Marc Jacobs. In The Big Apple, SAINT stunner Depass made the cut for the 41-model line-up of celebrated American designer Marc Jacobs’ much lauded Fall/Winter 2024 collection that was unveiled at the New York Public Library earlier this month.

“The show was absolutely fantastic and so dreamy,” Depass shared with Living . “I loved the entire collection, the structured, oversized designs and patterns, I felt like an actual life size doll. Walking the show this season was a special moment for me because it was my first time walking the show and I’ve always admired their runway collection, so it was a lovely feeling to finally accomplish that.

” The Jamaican model star had previously worked with the label for e-commerce appearances and also co-starred in the 2020 resort advertising campaign for The Marc Jacobs diffusion line, that featured lace dresses, polka dot prints, and a supporting cast of adorable pups. Of her latest runway work for Jacobs, who she considers extremely talented, Depass divulged: “I’d never done a runway show in the New York Public Library before so that was new. The vibe was similar to what it would normally be like otherwise.

We didn’t have access to the entire library only the section for the show.” Having last strutted the catwalk back in March for the Fall/Winter 2024 designer collections in Milan and Paris, the Clarendon-born star, signed to powerhouse modelling agency Elite New York, welcomed being part of Jacobs’ Gotham show as it served as a reunion of sorts with her peers. “A few of my friends were a part of the cast as well.

It was great to be able to reconnect and work with my Chinese friends Sijia Kang and Ying Ouyang who I haven’t seen or worked with in a long time,” Depass noted. Meanwhile, her SAINT sister Across The Pond, Knight, was busy with showroom assignments in The Old Smoke and The Drinkable City with respective turns for Gucci and Hermes. “I did the Gucci showroom in May while in London.

The Hermès showroom was in June and the Hermès show was in July. These were all booked by my agency Titanium Management London & Paris,” Knight explained. These assignments proved momentous as she was working with both luxury fashion houses for the first time.

“The feeling I encountered mostly was gratitude,” the model reflected. “A part of me was so happy I got to carry an actual Burkin bag! I’m glad I got the opportunity to work with these brands to showcase their creativity and vision as I’ve adored them both for years so I can finally tick them off my vision board.” Currently in Milan for model castings and possible client work, Knight is soaking up the fashion capital’s offerings.

“I always look forward to the scenery in Milan, it really gives what I’d like to call an ‘old money’ vibe, that idea that says we have it, we don’t have to prove it. I also enjoy gastronomy in Milan from pastas to the variations in pizza..

. listen, Italians know how to throw down with the spices! And not to mention the wine, just exquisite and plenty!” [email protected].
