DOHA: Al Jeryan Stud’s homebred Sealine yesterday delivered a commanding performance to break his maiden in style, securing a pillar-to-post victory in the Al Britha Cup, a 1400m Local Thoroughbred Graduation for 3YOs.
The M H K Al Attiyah-gelding showed class and determination winning by 2¾ lengths under Soufiane Saadi, who celebrated his second win of the day.

Earlier, Saadi piloted Alban Elie De Mieulle-trained Hamaki to Thoroughbred Handicap 80-105 title for his first win of the day.
In the Purebred Arabian Handicap 80-100, Kawaii D’Vialettes, trained by Ahmed Al Jehani, registered a 2 length victory in the 1200m race under jockey Arnaud De Lepine, while Mohammed Hassan Al Matwi-trained Tayyar Al Shahania stormed to Local Purebred Arabian Handicap 70-90 triumph with Fayos Martin Borja in the saddle.
Action got underway with Lanvin De Faust, ridden by Saleh Salem Al Marri, securing the Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate win followed by a victory for Basheer Al Shahania in the Purebred Arabian Novice Plate (Class 5) under Lukas Delozier.
Trainer Hamad Al Jehani also notched up a victory in the seven-race meet when Pierre Charles Boudot guided Al Mehrab to Thoroughbred Handicap 60-80 title.
