has admitted he "cried all the way home" after a devastating discovery. The television star has been through a lot since bursting onto screens on The X Factor. He married star Dan Neal in 2015, however they split in 2021.

But Rylan, 35, has revealed it was his first serious boyfriend, a professional dancer, who left him heartbroken. When he was 17, Rylan – real name Ross – was dating a guy, and it got so serious that he met his family. But things ended when he went to watch the unnamed man perform in a pantomime.



Speaking to the , Rylan said: "I met his family, did all that stuff, rah rah rah, and we all went to see him in panto [in Aladdin]. I swiped to open a message on his iPhone and found out he'd been f***ing his co-star! "I know it was when James Morrison and Nelly Furtado's Broken Strings came out because I cried the whole way home on the train to that. I won't tell you his name because he's married to a woman now.

" Rylan would later admit he had cheated during his married with Dan, which saw their relationship end. It saw Rylan have a breakdown. At his lowest, Rylan was struggling with suicidal thoughts and his weight plummeted to just nine stone.

He spoke of his troubling times in his second autobiography, TEN: The Decade That Changed My Future. But he's on the up again. He wrote: "I got in a relationship quite young and just went with it.

Now I know I'm my own person. I'm not going to settle for something that's not right. In a way it's been a bit of a gift.

"I'm happy to have sex with someone and that's that, that's not a problem. But do I want more? Of course I want more. Am I going to enjoy myself on the way? Abso-f***ing-lutely.
