Saturday, January 25, 2025 Ryanair , Europe’s leading low-cost airline, has unveiled its most extensive summer schedule for Dublin Airport, introducing 123 routes, including a new destination to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. The airline is also increasing frequencies on 18 popular routes, such as Faro, Ibiza, Malta, Milan, and Valencia. This expansion is facilitated by the temporary suspension of Dublin Airport’s passenger traffic cap for the upcoming summer season.
The suspension of the traffic cap, following a successful appeal to the High Court, allows Ryanair to base 34 aircraft at Dublin Airport for Summer 2025, including 14 new Boeing “Gamechanger” aircraft. These state-of-the-art planes are designed to reduce CO2 emissions by 16% and noise emissions by 40%, aligning with environmental goals. Ryanair’s CEO, Eddie Wilson, expressed satisfaction with the expansion, stating, “We are pleased to announce growth for Dublin this Summer, where we are adding 1 new based aircraft (34 total) and 1 new route to Rabat (123 total), as well as extra flights on 18 existing Ryanair routes to/from Dublin.
