Ryanair passengers will now have to pay up to £44.99 to add a 10kg check-in bag to their booking after the airline increased some of its luggage charges. The budget airline is known for its strict baggage policies and has 'sizers' placed at all of its airport gates to ensure that customers are following the rules.
Passengers are only entitled to bring a small personal bag on board with them free of charge unless they upgrade to Priority boarding, which allows them to bring an additional large cabin bag, or pay extra for a checked-in bag. Previously, Ryanair charged between £11.99 and £29.
