Whether paired with toast or a fry-up, scrambled eggs are a delicious food option for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Whilst many people cook them in a frying pan or saucepan, BBC Good Food has shared a super easy microwave option. According to the pros, scrambled eggs taste just as delicious in the microwave, if not better.

The recipe notes said: “Rustle up a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs in no time, this protein-rich dish takes just four minutes in the microwave.” This recipe serves one person, so it can easily be doubled or tripled depending on how many people you’re cooking for. Ingredients: Two eggs Two tablespoons of whole milk Toast, to serve Method: Use a fork to beat together the eggs, milk and a pinch of salt into a microwave-safe jug or bowl.



Cook the eggs in the microwave on high heat for 30 seconds before beating them again and returning to the microwave for another 30 seconds. Beat again to help break up any of the lumps in the eggs and then microwave for another 15 seconds and beat again. According to the recipe notes, the eggs will be loose at this stage so serve them straightaway if this is how you like them.

If you prefer your scrambled eggs a little firmer, microwave for a further 15 seconds, beat and then serve. Serve with toast and avocado, toast and bacon or even just toast and butter for a tasty and quick breakfast.
