Sharing her observations on TikTok , Natalia noted British people don't often wear hats but when they do, they grab the chance to "look silly". While living in Russia, she always opted for stylish hats, but since moving to the UK, she embraced the local quirks by purchasing a garish pink knitted hat for two pounds from a charity shop. Facing the viewers, she remarked: "I have noticed that British people don't wear hats but if they do they usually take this opportunity to look silly and when I lived in Russia I took it very seriously and I would usually buy a stylish hat but today I bought this hat from a charity shop for just two quid and it looks so silly and I like it.

" Further declaring her affection for the hat, Wright felt it suited her personality, adding, "I really like it. I think it represents me very well and I think I'm becoming more British if I can say so." Her video struck a chord with viewers, garnering 330,000 views, 52,000 likes, and numerous affirming comments.

One TikTok user concurred: "As a British person I can confirm we love silly hats." Another joked about an official 'ministry for silly hats', while a different user reminisced, "We had a silly hat party last Chris.
