RTE Fair City viewers were all left saying the same thing after Alex got confirmation from Ruby about Mondo's suspicions of Kira's affair. On tonight's episode on RTE , Kira's concern grew over how withdrawn Mondo had been lately, but they aren't helped after he meets with Alex. As Mondo feared for the future of his relationship, a guilty Alex went to meet with Ruby to learn the truth.
Alex was floored when Ruby confirmed the affair between Kira and Victor. He was left torn when Ruby pleaded with him not to break up two families. At the end of his tether, Mondo put Kira on the spot about the affair.
Kira denied the accusation and thought she had convinced Mondo but he had lingering suspicions. A guilt-ridden Alex kept the new intel to himself. Mondo buried his feelings when he noticed tension between Kira and Victor.
And Fair City viewers were quick to react to Mondo being convinced by Kira. Sinead said: "Ah Modno, you can't be that stupid, can you?" Gearoid added: "Modno is so far down that river in Egypt." Ciara wrote: "Round four of Mondo and Alex trying to figure out of Kira cheated, which is obvious to Stevie Wonder.
" Elsewhere, Anto resisted the temptation of Georgie’s Olympics viewing party. Anto got a text about a whip around for a co-worker’s retirement and asked Ray for a lend of money. Ray was suspicious Anto had fallen off the wagon and informed Sharon.
Sharon and Ray confronted Anto about gambling but were relieved when he proved his innocence. Anto feigned to be hurt over their accusations and Sharon gave her blessing for him to go to Georgie’s viewing party. But Anto secretly won big on a gambling app.
Finally in Carraigstown, Nikki apologised for lashing out at Anna and Gwen for Darren’s injury. Anna was irked when Gwen couldn't help rising to Nikki’s bait. Nikki refused to accept responsibility when the kids ran amok in McCoys.
Darren and Kim swiped Bosco’s watch from the bar but were caught by Leo. Bosco was furious when his watch was broken by the kid’s messing. As Gar left for the airport, he asked Cass to keep an eye on Jacinta and his apartment while he’s away.
Nikki charmed Bosco by replacing the watch, and feeling guilty, he insisted on paying her. With Gar out of the picture, Jacinta manipulated Cass and Leo into redecorating his flat to her taste. Nikki called around to gloat to Gwen that she has the locals and Sash on her side, leading the pair declare all-out war on each other.
