Tuesday, August 20, 2024 Royal Mansour Marrakech in Morocco has been honored with the No.3 Gin Art of Hospitality Award, in anticipation of The World’s 50 Best Hotels awards 2024 this September. Selected by 600 members of The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy, voters were asked to identify the property that offered their most exceptional hospitality experience during the 18-month voting period.

This award recognizes the property and its staff for their remarkable service and meticulous attention to detail. Voters evaluated factors such as the hotel’s ambience, the delivery of unique experiences, and the overall warmth of hospitality. Designed by King Mohammed VI, Royal Mansour Marrakech features 53 riads nestled within lush gardens, showcasing traditional architecture handcrafted by local artisans.

The property offers tranquil retreats under date palms, serene courtyards, and intricately mosaiced fountains, creating a sanctuary in the heart of the city. The expansive spa, crowned by a luxurious hammam and a holistic treatment menu, stands as the jewel of the property. Emma Sleight, Head of Content for The World’s 50 Best Hotels , says: “Royal Mansour Marrakech has long been setting an example of what it means to be truly hospitable.

Less than a year on from the Marrakech-Safi earthquake, this is especially impressive – we are honoured to celebrate this award as a testament to the hotel’s resilience and dedication to delivering exceptional service in the face of challenging times.” Every guest at Royal Mansour Marrakech is treated to their own private palace, with service that is truly fit for royalty. A network of hidden tunnels enables the dedicated butlers for each riad to provide impeccably discreet service.

The essence of Moroccan hospitality extends seamlessly to the hotel’s dining experiences. Guests can indulge at La Grande Brasserie and La Grande Table Marocaine, both under the culinary direction of acclaimed chef Hélène Darroze. Sesamo, an elegant Italian restaurant by the Alajmo brothers, and Le Jardin, offering a Mediterranean-Asian fusion menu crafted by Executive Chef Jérôme Videau, further elevate the dining experience.

Jean-Claude Messant, Managing Director of Royal Mansour Collection , says: “It’s a very special honour for our flagship hotel to receive this award. It’s down to our exceptional people, always striving to deliver the highest level of hospitality, ensuring each guest leaves with magical and unique memories of their stay. As our collection grows, we will continue to innovate our approach to hospitality, which lies at the heart of everything we do.
