The Princess of York looked radiant after attending a charity event on Thursday night. Eugenie, 34, donned a floor-length ball gown at the Poppy Ball Dinner at Royal Albert Hall ahead of Remembrance Day , but some fans were left unimpressed. King Charles , who is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, led the nation to pay their respect and commemorations today (November 10).
Senior members of the Royal Family , including Princess Kate and her husband Prince William , were spotted on the balcony of the Foreign Office alongside Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh. Eugenie donned a glamorous look in a black cold-shouldered Peter Pilotto gown. It boasted a delicate floral embroidered pattern that started across the chest and stretched to the skirt.
The unique print was in turquoise and boasted a piping tie belt that cinched her in at the waist. She accessorised the dress with a dainty gold pendant necklace and dazzling star-shaped earrings. However, many royal fans complained that it looked too "busy".
One user took to X , formerly known as Twitter and wrote: "It’s a little busy for my taste, but she looks pretty. "It's a pretty dress, but it's too busy for her body type. I'm not shaming, the cut is perfect for her just the stitching is too much, also I'm not a fan of peel-a-boo shoulders, especially for an event like this," added another.
A third chimed in and agreed: "The picture does not do the look of this gown on her. I love everything but the sleeves. Just never fan of.
