Prayagraj: A ‘self-proclaimed' offshoot of Juna Akhara , Shri Panch Dashnam Guru Dutt Akhara has decided to set up its maiden camp in the Maha Kumbh mela area triggering a row with the apex saints' body Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) denying the existence of any new Hindu monastic order. Shri Panch Dashnam Shri Sant Gurudutt Akhara was formed in 2022 after splitting from Juna Akhara - considered the biggest akhara of sanyasis by its numbers. Now, the akhara wants to set up a camp in Maha Kumbh.

For this, they have planned pattabhishek on Oct 26 at Anant Madhav Dev Giri Hanuman Temple in Chaufatka. During this, swami Amaranand Giri will be coronated as acharya mahamandaleshwar . Apart from this, Swami Chaitanya Giri, Swami Krishnanand Giri, Bhavani Shankar Giri, Swami Virendranand Giri, and many others will become mahamandaleshwars.



National secretary of Shri Panch Dashnam Shri Sant Gurudutt Akhara, Swami Adityanand Giri Gold said: "I have no opposition to any akhara. Juna is my guru akhara and I respect it. My aim is to give rights and respect to poor saints.

In other akharas, a huge amount has to be paid to get the certificate of post. We will give it free of cost. If I am stopped from setting up camp, peshwai or shahi snan, then I will move court.
