Since the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5, the country has been undergoing major reforms. However, during this period, the release of new films in the country has been sluggish. Among the few titles that made it to the big screen, "Shoroter Joba" premiered but struggled to draw a significant audience.
Conversely, Hollywood films have continued to make their way to local Cineplexes without interruption. Now the local film titled "Rong Dhong" is scheduled for release this Friday (November 8), bringing the much-needed glimmer of excitement for movie enthusiasts. Directed by Ahsan Sarwar, this long-awaited project was completed quite some time ago.
After receiving clearance from the previous Bangladesh Film Censor Board, the film is finally set for theatrical release. The film's producer, Ahsan Zubayer, announced that "Rong Dhong" will premiere in cinemas on November 8, with all preparations currently underway. The film stars Tariq Anam Khan, Arman Parvez Murad, Lutfur Rahman George, Shadhin Khasru, Faruque Ahmed, Shabnam Parvin, Ejajul Islam, Jamil, Pran Roy, and Shohel Mondol, among others, in various roles.
Produced under the banner of Blackshine Limited, the music for the film has been directed by Foad Nasser Babu, Pantha Kanai, Mahmudul Hasan Ronju, Shamim Alam Bulbul, and Tasnub. The soundtrack features vocals by Pantha Kanai, Kishore, Sumit, Jamil Hossain, and Adi..
