Social media influencer and popular YouTuber Rolleysoeasy said although the 'Pop the Balloon' challenge has garnered a huge impact, his main aim for "going so hard" on his goals is to make his mother proud. He said though the journey seems all blissful, engaging and well-organised, it has had its fair share of obstacles. "Sometimes people cancel pon yuh, sometimes yuh have a goal and dem nuh believe inna yuh, and sometimes mi feel like people just waah be around fi di wrong reasons.

But nevertheless, it's a good story to tell and mi can seh mi learn a lot, and mi wouldn't deh yah suh if a neva fi di challenges dem," Rolleysoeasy, whose given name is Rolando Fagan, told THE STAR . Contrary to what people might believe, he said the Pop the Balloon challenge often produce couples who really date after meeting on the show. "A just dat, mi nuh get fi follow up suh people think it's not real, but it's strictly real," he said.

The entertainer shared that he took on the project because he likes challenges. "Mi neva expect the blow up though because for me, it's not about popularity. Mi waah leave an impact, or yuh learn supm or just left with joy and that's all that matters.

So I never expected it to blow up this much because, to me, mi did known. But mi neva know seh mi coulda get 'known known'," he shared with a laugh. "Mi been a work hard and mi believe inna miself from a [longer] time when mi quit mi job as an electrician/sales representative to do this.

" In the seven years as a YouTuber, Rolleysoeasy is known for originating similar 'studio challenges' such as 'Smash or Pass,' while being dubbed as the 'King of YouTube Pranks' and doing creative challenges. He said that remaining authentic and being himself is the secret behind his longevity. Even though his mom was disgruntled at his decision to quit his other jobs, one solid advice he took from her was 'Never you quit when supm gets bad' which he promised to use to guide his decisions in his new professions.

Rolleysoeasy has travelled to numerous countries to showcase his theatrical prowess in acting. "I always wanted to be an actor. When I was younger and coming from church, I always act like di pastor and sometimes mi guh [dress up] fi [mommy] and perform fi her and mek shi laugh when shi stress," he chuckled as he reminisced.

However, his professional acting career started five years ago when popular actor Zbek took him to a music video set for Jahmeil. After several tries of digging deep to "find the character, he blew everybody's mind". Since then, he said the video director, Dameon Gayle, kept requesting him for more projects and professional playwright David Tulloch, who was also on set, was hooked on his talent and introduced him to the stage.

He advised his fellow social media influencers not to lose themselves, but instead try to "remain authentic, be themselves and think big". The entertainer, who hails from the Waltham Park and Nannyville communities, said his main aim is for his mom to be happy and see that his current work is impacting lives. "Right now mi nuh know if shi know di impact mi have pon odda people.

More while mi go look fi her and mi a seh 'Mommy, yuh know seh people really love me and dem a tap into mi thing,' mi feel like shi nuh really know. But mommy proud a me, shi still show her love and mi love her like crazy.".
