ROCHESTER — Michelle and Gene Enos have grown into their northeast Rochester home. With each remodel project from the landscaping to the bathrooms and window cranks, they plastered their care into the home. Even the workshop next to the home is fit with heating and plumbing — and room for four cars.

It’s home they consider vacation where the deer visit their bedroom window and the hostas, ferns and grasses create a “very tranquil” backyard. ADVERTISEMENT “We brought the outdoors in and that’s how it feels in this home. We brought the outdoors in with everything,” Michelle said while looking out the windows to the beautiful property at 6317 Oak Meadow Lane NW.



The windows bring light to each of the rooms, including one of Michelle’s favorite spaces in her office where it remains "light and bright” through the afternoon. They fell in love with the location and knew they could complete the remodel projects after remodeling their home in Byron. The remodel projects come with their vision: practicality for themselves and the future owners.

Like the floors people could simply clean after spending time outside. A clear door also directs people into the living room and brings in light. While sharing about the lower level, Gene said “this whole area got changed” including an enlarged bathroom, lightening the around the wood fireplace and adding a drain in the gym.
