Robert (Rob) Moul April 15, 1944 - August 9, 2024 BELLA VISTA - Robert (Rob) Moul, 80, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died on August 9, 2024. Rob was born Robert Lee Bingaman, on April 15, 1944, in Washington, D.C.
, the son of Mark and Marcella (Norris) Bingaman. Mark was killed in action in WWII, and Marcella later married John D. Moul, who adopted and raised Rob.
Rob grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and the University of Iowa. He married Judy Dimmitt on Sept.
3, 1965, and they welcomed a daughter and a son. He felt privileged to have a long career in men's clothing retail management working for Gildner's Stores, Inc. in Dubuque and Mason City.
Later he enjoyed working for Moorman Clothiers in Mason City until his retirement. Rob and Judy moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas, after retiring and loved the beauty of the area. Rob loved buying, refurbishing and reselling old stuff and made a second career out of his love for antiques.
He enjoyed attending auctions and working at his antique booths, and met some good people in the process. His favorite place was their cabin in Minnesota, especially when his kids and grandkids visited. They will always hold close in their hearts the fond memories of times spent with him there.
Rob was always willing to help, no matter the task. He was blessed with incredible energy and was always on the go. He was extremely proud of his two children, their spouses, and his two grandchildren.
He is survived by: his wife, Judy, of 59 years; daughter, Megan Young, and husband, Tim, of Winterset, Iowa; son, Matthew C. Moul, and wife, Jillian, of South Fallsburg, New York; grandson, Casey Young; granddaughter, Jena Young; sister, Barbara Moul; brother, Kirk Moul, and wife, Lydia; niece, Kristin Driscoll, and husband, Scott, and great-nephews, Ben, Ryan and Ronan; nephew, Jon Moul, and wife, Lauren; and his beloved cat, Izzy. A family celebration of Rob's life will be held at a later date.
