Robert Moran OBITUARY Well...

Well...

Well...

If you’re reading this, then I’m gone – puff – that was quick. IRISH TOAST – Here’s to a long life & a merry one – a quick death & an easy one – A pretty girl & a honest one – a cold beer & another one. I was born in Hartford, CT on January 4th, 1952 to the late Martin J.

Moran and Mary Elizabeth (Cahill) Moran. I lived in East Hartford for 23 years, I graduated from East Hartford High School in 1970 and Central Connecticut State College in 1975. I married the beautiful Patty Hawkins of Bloomfield on June 18th, 1977.

We lived in Manchester for one year. In 1978 we moved to Vernon and had our first boy, Andy. In 1984 we moved back to Manchester to our one & only home.

1986 brought us our second boy, Will and with him, we closed that chapter of our lives. After 30 plus years, Patty and I amicably divorced, still friends to our deaths. I met the next love of my life, Lisa Mary Hallowell, and spent 9 happy years together.

Also married we brought up two teenage daughters, Shelley and Sara, that I call my own. – In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister Sharon Moran Bush, wife Patricia Hawkins Moran, wife Lisa Hallowell Moran. Bob is survived by sons Andrew Moran and William Moran, daughters, Sara Barlow and Shelley Hardy; and grandchildren Vanessa, Nora and Austin.

He is also survived by his sister Mary Moran Bonk and brother-in-law Ed Bonk, brother-in-law Dave Bush, nieces and nephews Meg Bonk and fiancé Jay May, Ryan and Megan Bonk, Lauren Dubois and D.J. Dubois and mother-in-law Shirley Hawkins.
