The Colorado Buffaloes finished off their 2024 regular season campaign with a blowout 52-0 victory over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Per usual, Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders were at the center of everything for the Buffaloes, and that led to a rather bold Heisman Trophy take from Robert Griffin III. Against Oklahoma State, Hunter and Sanders were everywhere.
Hunter hauled in 10 passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns, while also recording an interception on defense. Sanders, meanwhile, carved up the Cowboys all day long, completing 34 of his 41 pass attempts for 438 yards and five touchdowns. It's safe to say that Hunter and Sanders both wrapped up their regular season campaigns in dominant fashion.
And according to Griffin, he believes that this duo should be among the four finalists for the 2024 Heisman Trophy when all is said and done. He has 92 catches for 1,152 yards and 15 total touchdowns on offense this year, while also racking up 32 tackles, four interceptions, and 11 passes defended on defense. Sanders has been just as good under center for Colorado, as he's now passed for 3,926 yards while racking up 39 total touchdowns.
