During the Wednesday, October 23, episode of her “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast, Kelly Ripa asked Lowe, 60, about his “crazy good” chemistry with Moore, 61, in the film. “Did you have a crush on her?” Ripa, 54, asked.
“Did you guys ever date?” Lowe replied, “I mean, Demi and I briefly — I’m not telling tales out of school — we briefly had a thing.” The actor noted that the pair’s fling came before Moore’s engagement to their fellow Brat Pack member Emilio Estevez . Moore and Estevez, 62, called off their engagement in 1986.
“And then we all were at [Demi’s 1987] wedding to Bruce [ Willis ],” Lowe recalled.
