The mother-of-three's book 'Take Care' delves into Lindsey's experience of caring for her late husband during his five year battle with motor neurone disease. The rugby league legend - who passed away in June - was diagnosed with the debilitating disease in 2019, just two years after retiring from a 17-season league career.

Earlier this week, Lindsey - who lives in Yorkshire with her three children - unveiled the cover of her upcoming memoir on X and revealed that Prince William has contributed to the book. She wrote: 'Take care will be published on the 27 February 2025 and I am happy to be able to share the cover with you. I’m honoured to say that the book features a forward written by HRH Prince William.

The Prince and Princess of Wales' official X account replied to this post with a single blue heart emoji. The royal couple were among the first to led the tributes to Rob Burrows following his tragic death in June.

William and Kate shared a touching message on X as they expressed their condolences to the athlete's family. The Prince of Wales wrote: 'A legend of Rugby League, Rob Burrow had a huge heart. 'He taught us, "in a world full of adversity, we must dare to dream".

Burrow was capped 15 times by England and played five Tests for Great Britain, but he was best known as part of the team that won the Super League in 2004. It ended the club's 32-year wait for a title, and he was then named Man of the Match in the Rhinos' 2007 and 2011 achievements.
