Prayagraj: To ensure secure and efficient execution of Maha Kumbh-2025, railways will be actively taking recommendations from officials who rendered their services in Prayagraj during the 2013 and 2019 editions of the fair. Furthermore, the railways will also be actively seeking suggestions from officials of various other departments who have previously served during the earlier Kumbh fairs. The railways will examine the circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident at Prayagraj Junction in 2013 and will actively seek input from the officials who were stationed there during that period.
While identifying the shortcomings and lapses during the previous fairs, the railways will formulate strategies and devise a comprehensive plan to be implemented during the Maha Kumbh 2025. The railways will also actively solicit suggestions regarding the routes of the Mela special trains. A series of meetings with officials having extensive experience of Kumbh will be conducted from August to September under the chairmanship of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Prayagraj division of North Central Railways.
A list of suggestions will be compiled, which will be presented during the meeting for Maha Kumbh.In addition to railway officials, staff and officials from other departments, along with experienced individuals and media personnel who have been a part of Kumbh, will be invited to contribute their valuable suggestions. Railway officials stated that certain officials in the department who have previously served here and are currently posted elsewhere might also be deployed here for a few months between December and March during the Maha Kumbh.
A list of such officials who have served during Kumbh 2013 and 2019 is being meticulously prepared. These officials will be intimated and inquired about their willingness to work during the Maha Kumbh. A proposal for their deployment is being drafted, and following the approval of the board, these officials may be summoned to Prayagraj to render their services during the Maha Kumbh.
