The “Diamonds” singer never fails to push the envelope when it comes to fashion, and the new issue of Perfect magazine is no exception, with the star posing in head-to-toe gold body paint and a tiny bikini. Rihanna, 36, shared a series of photos from the shoot on Instagram Monday, including one of herself sprawled across a piece of shiny gold fabric as she modeled gleaming gilded skin and a coordinating Dolce & Gabbana bikini.
The “Umbrella” singer — who celebrated her youngest son, Riot’s, 1st birthday with partner A$AP Rocky last week — wore matching Christian Louboutin heels and even covered her hair and eyebrows in the gilded paint, accenting the sparkling look with black eyeliner. She kept the gold vibes going with a vintage Van Cleef & Arpels necklace and bracelet featuring diamond accents, and the straps of her bikini also featured gold hardware. The Fenty Beauty founder didn’t stop there when it comes to jaw-dropping photos.
In another version of the mag’s cover, she cried a large tear — but instead of actual water, it was a massive pear-shaped diamond from Messika’s private collection. Rihanna also went for an “S&M”-inspired outfit, rocking an ensemble crafted entirely from silver-studded black belts and a black harness from Junya Watanbe as she leaned forward and dropped a microphone. In another version of the cover, she scarfed down spaghetti while wearing a brown fur coat and leather gloves along with massive diamond teardrop earrings and a bold necklace.
Fans certainly ate up the photos, like one who commented, “We’re hungry for more 🥵🍝❤️🔥” on her pasta pic. “The mic???? OH SHES COMING 🤭” another fan commented, hinting that Rihanna might finally deliver new music soon. “If I must shed tears, then my darrliiing let them be diamonds 🥂💎💋,” a third wrote.
