PHOTOS: TAG HEUER With a history that stretches back over 60 years, the iconic TAG Heuer Carrera is known and loved as a racing-inspired chronograph with a clean, elegant design and a strong motorsports heritage. This year, the Swiss watchmaker has added several new models to the line-up, including the Carrera Chronograph Skipper, the Carrera Chronograph with a “panda” dial, and the Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport.

With its vibrant blue dial and tri-colour regatta countdown indicator, the Carrera Chronograph Skipper is geared towards sailing enthusiasts. For those who appreciate an updated classic, there is the Carrera Chronograph. Featuring a striking design with a silvered dial and black sub-dials, known in watch circles as a “panda”, it is equipped with an 80-hour power reserve.



Most rugged of the lot is the Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport, the ideal wrist companion for adventurous types. It is designed with a mix of high-tech materials and comprises a skeleton dial built for high performance and durability in any environment. For the uninitiated, the Carrera was first launched in 1963, inspired by the thrilling Carrera Panamericana road race held in Mexico from 1950 to 1954.
