Prayagraj : The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission ( UPPSC ) announced the result of Combined State Agriculture Service Preliminary Examination-2024 on Wednesday night. The commission has declared 2029 candidates successful who would now appear in the main examination . For recruitment to 268 posts of State Agriculture Service, the commission had issued an advertisement on April 10, and the preliminary examination for the same was conducted on August 18.
Of 40,923 candidates registered for the examination, 23,866 appeared for the preliminary examination. The number of candidates to appear in the main examination is 15 times the number of posts. Controller of examinations of the commission Harshdev Pandey said that separate information will be issued about the schedule of the main examination and the online application of successful candidates for the main examination.
Information about the cut-off marks and other details of the candidates will be made available on the website of the commission after the final selection result is declared. No separate representations will be accepted under the Right to Information Act-2005, he said. Meanwhile, the screening exam for Homeopathic Residential Medical Officer-2023 was conducted by the commission at various centres in Lucknow on Wednesday.
