Traffic lights have stopped working on a major Swindon A-road, and the council are working to repair the issue. The lights on Thamesdown Drive by the Orbital Shopping Park were reported as not working around 10am this morning, August 6. A Swindon Borough Council said: “We’re aware of the problem and it should be resolved this afternoon.
” One person observed that traffic was “running well”. They said: “Looked like they were there about an hour ago trying to repair them. They failed.
Traffic is running well no hold-ups at all, just be cautious.” Update: The council has reported that this issue has now been resolved..
