This popular market town, which is now considered one of Wales' best food and drink hubs and a 'must-do' destination for foodies, has been judged to be the best place to live in Wales in 2024 by The Sunday Times, who produce an annual UK list based on a range of lifestyle criteria. The judges were most impressed with the people of the town as much as the location, saying: "Few locations in the UK are as friendly, practical and picturesque as this friendly market town on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
