Photo by John Elliott / Postmedia Article content The City of Ottawa’s built heritage subcommittee has approved a plan to remove pews from the nave of St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts to make it more flexible as a rental space.
Architect Barry Padolsky, heritage consultant to the centre, said there was a demand for distinctive spaces for social events such as weddings, exhibitions and corporate gatherings.
