Manufacturer of industrial and warehouse robots, Noida-based Addverb Robotics is now expanding its folio in the humanoid robotics segment, taking on rivals across padosi China, and the US. Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance has a majority (56%) stake in the robotic company that was founded in 2016. The firm will launch AI-powered desi humanoid within next year.
Addverb Technologies, backed by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Group, will launch humanoid robots in 2025, competing with US and Chinese rivals. The robots will serve industries like fashion and retail. Reliance owns 56% of Addverb, valued at $260 million.

The yet-to-be-named robot will ship with the latest GPU technology, Jio-powered AI and 5G tech, dual-arm functionalities, and energy-efficient actuators. The Reliance Robot will be able to perform a variety of tasks with the capability of navigating various terrains. The robot will also be integrated with Visual and Language Action (VLA) technologies that will aid it in its autonomous operation.
It's high time India jumps in. Addverb, backed by Reliance, plans to launch humanoid robots in 2025 for industrial and defense use, with a goal of producing 100 bots in 2025. Addverb's robots serve 300 global logistics customers .
