The 21-year-old and fellow allrounder Washington Sundar (40no) have put on a 105-run eighth-wicket stand to take India within 148 runs of Australia's first innings 474. Reddy has been a revelation for India since debuting in the Border-Gavaskar series-opener in Perth.



Usually batting at No.8, Reddy has hit 264 runs at an average of 66 to begin his Test career. He has the equal third-most runs - level with star Australia veteran Steve Smith - for any batter in this series, and is behind only Travis Head and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
