Real Madrid began their Champions League campaign with a crucial victory against Stuttgart. 2nd Half Goals from Mbappe, Rudiger, and Endrick, helped Los Blancos in securing a hard-fought 3-1 win over the German side. Prior to the game, Carlo Ancelotti had called out his team for their poor display in their previous games in the La Liga, hoping they would improve ahead of the Champions League game.

However in the overall gameplay, Los Blancos still struggled, but they were still able to grind out the results when it mattered most. Rudiger was very composed at the backline, and he was very impactful in preventing the German side from punishing them through their dangerous attacks. Also, Courtois was very solid, giving no room for errors, and giving out a colossal display at the goal.
